今天(21日)是夏至,是日照最長的一天,開業中醫師田莒昌表示,這天開始氣溫明顯升溫,是陽氣最旺盛之際,容易口乾舌燥、疲憊無力,可吃清熱食物解暑,如綠豆、苦瓜、冬瓜、空心菜與蘿蔔等;另外,夏天可別怕流汗,排汗可散發體內熱量,反而是猛吹風降溫會影響體內散發熱氣而造成陰暑,出現頭痛、咳嗽等症狀,提醒天熱應從事安靜活動,讓體溫自然下降。

喝消暑茶飲

夏天喝冰飲也易導致毛細孔收縮,降低人體散熱,越喝越燥熱,除可喝溫涼開水外,田莒昌醫師也分享生脈飲與烏梅消暑飲2道消暑配方,作法皆將材料加入2000c.c.沸水中以小火煮30分鐘,濃縮成約1000c.c.茶飲,放溫涼後再飲用,1天喝約1000c.c。生脈飲材料為人參鬚、麥冬各15克與五味子3克,喝起來帶些許酸味,怕酸者可加冰糖調味,具益氣生津、預防中暑之效。烏梅消暑飲材料為淡竹葉與西瓜皮消去綠色表層,留下白色瓜肉各30克,烏梅15克、石斛10克、蓮子心6克,可加入適量冰糖調味,具清解暑熱、養陰生津的功能。

糖量多少 勿以口感分辨

天熱易飆汗,糖尿病患若未補充流失的水分,尿糖比例高恐增加泌尿道感染機率,不過喝什麼也要慎選,台北馬偕醫院糖尿病衛教師張美珍發現,多數患者都知道要限制甜食,卻普遍有以口感判斷含糖量的錯誤觀念,喝下許多不甜、但含糖量高的飲料,如運動飲料、加味水,容易影響血糖波動,建議解渴消暑喝水較佳,每天至少2000c.c.以上,若想喝飲料則可選擇無糖茶飲。
糖尿病患大多都有「不能吃太甜」的認知,不過張美珍衛教師表示,糖分攝取不能以口感衡量,應觀察商品標示的碳水化合物含量。

加味水 含糖高

張美珍提醒,近年頗受歡迎的加味水、果茶或蜜茶,喝起來雖然僅有淡淡甜味,但1瓶600c.c.的加味水,以每100毫升含12公克碳水化合物計算,等同吃下將近1碗半飯量。另運動飲料同樣具有偏高的碳水化合物量,也不建議糖尿病患飲用。
張美珍衛教師建議,除了需限水如合併腎病的糖尿病患者,每天應喝水2000c.c.,且不要為了達到建議量而一次狂飲,多數都經由尿液排除,最好每次500c.c.分次喝;吃水果解暑也要節制,像是夏天常吃的西瓜,一次吃了2、3片早已超量,建議將水果切塊放飯碗中平滿為1份,1天可吃2次,每次1份。
