牙套族這樣吃 營養不缺乏

齒顎矯正專科醫師王荷若表示,牙套族不能吃太硬、太黏食物,但若為省麻煩只吃特定食物,易營養不均,對兒童與青少年而言可能影響發育,建議均衡飲食,較硬食物可切小塊咀嚼;剛戴牙套可能牙齒痠軟,可補充軟嫩食物如豆腐,並補充維生素B、C增加修護。

王荷若醫師表示,目前矯正牙齒以兒童與青少年為主,初期不適應可能會瘦2~3公斤,但體重應在3個月內回復,建議牙套族調整飲食型態,均衡攝取營養。另矯正期間牙齒脫鈣、牙齦炎機率高,多是忽略刷牙,建議集中三餐飲食,飯後仔細潔牙,並少吃點心。


【這樣做】★可切塊慢嚼

豪邁咬下堅硬如芭樂、蘋果等食物,易損壞矯正器,完全避吃水果又易缺乏維生素B、C等,嘴破更不易痊癒,建議將水果切小塊,再放入口中慢慢咬碎,也可打成果汁飲用。



★牙痠吃豆腐

剛戴牙套或回診調整矯正器後,若牙齒痠軟吃不下,只能吃些溫涼飲食,但大多數人都選布丁、果凍等,僅能攝取熱量、糖類,建議選豆腐、蛋等,也可從中補充蛋白質。



★餐外少零食

牙套易卡菜渣,每次飯後一定要用牙刷、牙尖刷與牙線完整清潔牙齒,即使已熟悉完整潔牙步驟者,最少也要耗費10分鐘以上,建議三餐外別再吃點心,集中飲食時間。



【提醒你】★脫鈣約1成

約1成牙套族因忽略潔牙導致牙齒表面脫鈣、呈黃白斑塊,嚴重變蛀牙。可在潔牙後,滴幾滴牙菌斑顯示劑在牙齒表面,若帶牙菌斑會顯現紅色斑塊,再針對這些部位加強清潔。

【醫師說】應定期回診

民眾不一定能察覺因進食導致的矯正線變形,因此定時回診相當重要,可讓醫師調整矯正器,避免影響矯正效果;另牙齒脫鈣若能早期發現,也可在惡化成蛀牙之前就先補救。
